COMBINED MACHINE FOR OPENING AND CLOSURE TANNER OF A FERROALLOY FURNACE

produced since 2000

The combined machine is designed to facilitate manual labor in the process of opening and closing the taphole of an ore-thermal furnace.

The fulfillment of the tasks of producing liquid metal is impossible without the mechanization of manual labor. The combination machine is supplied in two units per taphole yard. Each tap hole is equipped with a machine control panel, and the control panels are located near the tap hole filling machine. Two machines are supplied with one control cabinet, allowing you to select which machine to operate by activating the power unit. The combined machine has the functions of taphole opening based on the operation of a pneumatic or hydraulic drill head, the carriage from which is driven by a hydraulic motor. The fully hydraulic scheme of the mechanisms is quite reliable and not higher in cost of operation than a pneumatic core head, there is a wide range of suppliers of replacement and consumable components. The presence in the workshop of constantly compressed air as a source of energy eliminates the risks associated with the loss of power during the operation of a pneumatic drill. The hydraulic "gun" locking and holding the gun mass for some time by pressing the toe against the furnace is built on proven hydraulic components with a worldwide reputation, thermally resistant to high temperatures, having many years of experience in ferroalloy production. Backup operation is provided by an alternative hydraulic pump driven by a pneumatic line, which eliminates the risk of blocking the machine in the taphole chamber in the event of a power failure.
